Here is an account of what the teacher says he actually did, In a letter published in July last year by the Telegram group Politzek-Info, which covers political repression, Kliuka said he was arrested after scribbling horns, beards and moustaches on people shown in a local pro-Kremlin newspaper. After Russia launched its military campaign, Kliuka said his school colleagues noticed the drawings on the newspaper and reported him, leading to his sacking.Kliuka said he made the sketches to “have a laugh” or “express his feelings”.They also called the FSB security service, “gave them these newspapers and said I was interested in explosives,” he wrote. He added that the money transfers found on his telephone were sent to relatives from Ukraine’s occupied Lugansk region and that he was forced to confess they were to finance the Azov regiment. It doesn't seem to strike some Western politicians that Ukrainians might not want to live under an oppressive police state dictatorship, where they could join the EU instead.

But they are essentially at war. What would the fine be for sending a lot of cash to the Germans during WW1 ? I'm sure it also wold be prison time. Or even if a Ukranian under martial law sent cash to the Russians?

So, is the jailing of boy, 15 also justified? metro.co.uk/2024/06/21/boy-15-jailed-russia-opposing-putin-ukraine-war-21083544/

Nah, 'Sir' Bill Browder comes over as a lying POS (e.g. '500k' Russians when he KNOWS it's the poor Ukrainians that are taking those casluaties. He KNOWS perfectly well. But he can't say that can he b/c that breaks his perfectly inverted narrative) People that lie that cofidently must have 'the goods' on others knowing they will be allowed to continue. Best bit was where he projected Natanyahu's war onto Putin ("can't stop" "will be killed"...) Straight up psychopath.

And put Zelensky up on a show trial, whilst throwing his wife and children down a lime pit.

Farage says the war is Putin's fault but the west provoked him. I agree entirely. No other politician would risk their own voting base but Farage always seems comfortable saying it how it is rather than what he thinks we want to hear. I'm sure a good proportion of his natural voters would find the statement troubling and it will be interesting to see what happens to his support - I suspect it will only grow. Incidentally, Starmer is the exact opposite in this regard - he absolutely will say anything he thinks we want to hear. What I would like to see (one day!) is someone with Farage's refreshing integrity and honesty but with policies closer to the centre. www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cldd44zv3kpo
Farage is certainly one of the more perceptive politicians in the UK, if you look back at his speeches when he was an MEP he often warned the EU about the dangers of provoking Russia. Starmer is in the position he is in simply because he is an obedient servant of the ruling elite and will do what he is told * - which in the UK means doing what the US imperialists want. What the EU doesnt seem to understand is the US does not give a damn about them any more than it gives a damn about Ukraine.
* - Although I do believe Starmer is less dangerous than say Cameron simply because his party still has an anti-war element to its support base and party members. In my opinion Tories are less likely to think twice about throwing British troops into being slaughtered by the Russians especially if they thought they would get a pay off from it.
Farage says what he make sure will please putler. This guy will sell ( sold ) part of his soul to stay by the power. EU is well aware where its stands regarding US relationships and for US strong and stable Europe is quite important.

Not everyone. What is s/he trying to do? If its taking a different view than you on this vile war then people are certainly entitled to their opinions. If you are trying to say that anyone taking a different view on the war should be shut down and not heard that's dangerous IMO. If its something else that is also present in lots of other posts then maybe that's a different story. I'm not aware of anything outrageous that has been said but I could well be wrong. Disclaimer: I don't like Browder much either - he's a super rich lobyist and influencer of US policy. He has personal reasons to hate Russia and indeed Putin and I respect that but he shouldn't be taken as seriously as he is by the usual cartel of MSM.

He has personal reasons to hate Russia and indeed Putin I don't think he can really be said to hate Russia. (We can all, I presume, separate a country and its inhabitants from its government?) Let's quickly remind ourselves of those "personal reasons" to hate Putin. Browder was the largest foreign investor in Russia in the 90s and early 00s, running the world's most profitable investment fund - until A Certain Somebody decided that he'd rather have that profit for himself. Browder was then declared a national security threat and banned from the country, while the fund's offices were raided by the interior ministry. When Browder tried to find out why, the lawyer (Sergei Magnitsky) he used was thrown in prison for nearly a year without charge before being beaten to death... but not before unearthing forged documents used to steal the funds and apply for a fraudulent tax refund of quarter of a billion dollars in the funds' names. Browder then tried to get Russian government human rights violations recognised and stopped... the result of which was allegations of tax fraud with repeated attempts to launch Interpol arrest warrants, all of which have been rejected as political. And, yeh, he's a "lobbyist of US policy". He's the man behind the bipartisan* Obama-era "Magnitsky Act", aimed at punishing government officials in Russia and elsewhere who are behind human rights abuses. Other jurisdictions, including the EU, introduced very similar legislation. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnitsky_Act#Similar_laws_in_other_jurisdictionsThe US legislation's been used since to target those involved in the Khashoggi murder, Rhohingya persecution, triads, and various other deeply unsavoury people. * - remember when the US could come to bipartisan agreement on things, without the orange gibbon and his fanclub simply flinging dung around?

Pretty Brutal stuff - although he does appear to ask to be shot in the video and we don't know how badly he was injured and how much pain is he was in. People being put out of their misery on the battle field does happen in all armies. It wouldnt surprise me if the gesture he makes to the other soldier was not something widely used in the Russian Army which has always been known for being tough and ruthless.
