Hi, I cannot find the feature to sell my loan mid-term, is it possible? Regards, Tom tomder. On main screen go to "My investment". In the new window that opens you'll see the option "Selling/Sold investments". Then select the item you want to sell.

If the box in that column is grey the investment is not eligible to be sold, too new or too close to redemption.

I saw this, but the sell box is Grey :-( how come some are not eligible to be sold? Where are the criteria on what is eligible for a secondary market sale and not?

The secondary market was only meant to be a method of selling out if you need the funds. By putting in limits I think Bridgecrowd were trying to prevent gaming the system, ie, discouraging lenders from buying anything (or large chunks of loans, cutting out other potential lenders) and then selling immediately putting a load on the system; And if a loan is close to redemption stopping lenders selling to avoid holding any loans that don't repay on time.

If you put a loan on the SM it stops earning interest. Just lines BC's pockets.

Thanks Steve, perfect answer. Do you want a job in our PR team? I can confirm that all loans on the SM have sold within a day.

When I go to the 'Selling/Sold Investments' tab, I don't see any 'Sell' button, only 'no data to display'. Does it mean I don't have any loans that is eligible for sell ?

If you can sell a loan, there will be a SELL button next to it in My Investments (far right hand side). You can’t sell loans after 1 month to go, nor for 1 month after you buy them.

It feels like SM is manual - someone has to approve the operations . If you put something on sell tonight most likely will be gone tomorrow
