Ed, are you having a late flurry of registrations?!! You're right of course but I was thinking about first bids; with a £5k initial maximum from anyone, I reckon that'd be quite an achievement. Whereas a small number of chunky 5 figure follow-up bids will make a big dent in anything left at 24 hours. I wonder whether there's yet been an individual 6 figure bid yet on MT? (I don't remember any of the big MT loans ratcheting down by that much, even the abortive huge one in Huddersfield)

Although somewhat indelicate I should point out that in OG's youth he was renowned for making Victorian Matrons swoon !
