Thanks Mike
Is it also like SS that when there is a new loan, older bits come for sale ? Yep - but expect to see them before the loan goes live (to provide funds for the new) rather than after

The MoneyThing SM is pretty active this morning already as people trim holdings for the 4pm Cardiff loan launch. Reckon today will be a good chance for new MT lenders to expand their portfolio and diversify... [It would be interesting to see a graph or spreadsheet of daily SM trading value since it went live. I've a suspicion today will be setting a new record for SM activity, MoneyThing ?]

Assuming the vast majority of that was freeing up funds to invest in the Cardiff loan, the effect on the loan book is like launching a whole extra Managed Portfolio.

The SM has made a big difference to the platform. I have a feeling that if the big loan that Ed tried to launch last November were to be launched now it would be a whole different ball-game. It wouldn't surprise me if today's new loan was gone by tomorrow evening.

Perhaps we should have a little Friday fun and I can personally post a chocolate bar of your choice (my favourite is a Boost although other brands are available), to the person who guesses the closest time in hrs & minutes the time it takes for this loan to sell on the PM (MT328)?

Blast, oldgrumpy beat me to my favoured guess. I'll go for 17:30 on Sat 30th then, giving the big hoovers a full 90 minutes to suck up what's left at the 24 hour mark.
