Sorry one more thing. I can't see any reference as to when interest is paid, is it paid as soon as you invest or after the loan is drawn down? Interest is paid after each month the loan has been running (ending with the final repayment date). You start accruing interest as soon as you invest (the loans are already funded by MT)

Does interest still accrue if I put a loan part for sale or the interest stops similarly to SS?

Does interest still accrue if I put a loan part for sale or the interest stops similarly to SS? Morning. Lenders will continue to accrue interest on their 'for sale' parts (which is then credited on the monthly loan anniversary). Kind regards, Ed.

Evening everyone. New to the forum, to MT, and in fact to P2P in general. Signed up to MT yesterday with the minimum £100 which I split between two loans. Looking forward to seeing how it all pans out and learning a bit

Quite a few bits & pieces available on SM. Managed to diversify into some of the older loans I haven't got but, you'll need to hurry up as not much left

Sorry for asking what may seem an obvious question... I'm new to MT. Can proportions of loan parts be sold or does the whole part have to be sold? Do you have to wait for the whole part to sell before cashing out?
Is interest paid up until the point the part has sold and been credited or does it stop accusing as soon as the loan is put up for sale?
Thanks in advance!

In addition to Pom's reply, I can also confirm that you can choose to sell a proportion of your loan holding. Regards, Ed.
