For those who download and import their statements into their own accounting system note that the wording of recovery payments has changed.

What used to be - "Recovery payment for loan part xxxxxx"

is now - "Principal recovery repayment for loan part xxxxxx"

I was missing 50p this week until I spotted this and amended my import code.

I contacted FC, who added a thing on the "Help" notices ...

Please note that due to a temporary issue, investors who have received a recovery payment from 4th of August onwards will notice that the entry on the transaction statement marks that the recovery payment is a 'Principal repayment'.

This will still display on your account as a recovery payment and is due to some changes we have made to the transaction statements.

A fix for the issue is currently being tested and will be deployed by Monday 10/08; following this the recovery payments for these dates will return to normal.

My bold. That will be the new normal then ...

The accidental "Principal repayments" have been rebranded "Principal recovery payments", so if you downloaded and processed statements, between 4th August and nowish, you might want to re-fetch them, as they went back and corrected the errors.
