I am a newbie to Loanpadand so far have been impressed but when I go to My Loanbook on the bottom line it says cash awaiting investment. Over the last few days it has gone from £10 to £44 this afternoon. What is this cash and how do you invest the cash?

There has always been an element of free cash but it wasnt visible before, just if you added your investment up. It still earns interest.

It seems the way they operate is to allow excess funds to build up until they have enough £ to buy another loan tranche from their lending partners. As I write there are 827 lenders with an average investment of £6149 = £5,085,223. But there is only £4,857,500 in 'total Loanpad loans'. Your cash awaiting investment is your share of the uninvested funds. Live loan #36 should therefore appear in the next couple of days.
