Due to the annual leave of the accounting staff during the festive break, the cut off for filing the rent account this month is the 18th December. Rent will be paid out as normal on the last working day of the month, but any rent collected after the 18th will be reflected in the January dividend.
Perhaps I could try this with my rent or council tax simply stating that as I’m on holiday I will pay it next month instead 😂😂
is is it just me that thinks this is bizarre?

Very sloppy accounting practice is this, I agree. Can't see why this should not be credited next week at least. I think they possibly needed the rent money to pay for the propertymoose Christmas party, so I guess we will just have to wait.

Is this bizarre? YES PM's weirdest message yet? PROBABLY NOT! It would be run close by some of the we'll fix our **** up next month rubbish we get. Don't forget the we'll be taking control of your investments away from you for an undetermined time, at an undetermined time, without your permission ones recently! Or what about the "we've got proof of payment" one that, em, turned out to be misleading.

Absolutely outrageous..
It makes calculating returns much harder than it should be.
Having to wade through "deduction here for council tax... Deduction here to increase provision fund... Deduction here for paying back loan"
Imagine the tenants deferring their rent until Jan, or employers deferring pay.
They want us to believe there is no financial distress.. I suggest they act like there isn't any problems then!

I don't actually know if it is problems - could just be greed - we sure know how they like to get their cut! Top, middle & bottom (forgive the shameless Strike It Lucky reference)! So much for in it together! Oh, another candidate for weirdest message would be annualised return of half the six month return (think it was on spv84).

Your forgiven for your 90's reference haha..
Most realistic people wouldnt begrudge them their slice. The whole concept potentially allows small investors access to investment projects we wouldn't have been able to get involved in, in return for their fees etc.
I do think greed is a factor and doesn't bode well for the future. It may not be helpful for them to hear comments like this, but it's up to them to win us over and improve, rather than shh us!

I agree that they are entitled to a cut, but it is galling to see them taking fees at various points, even where folk are making a loss, in no small measure down to over inflated estimates, poor property choices, poor tenant choices, free rent given without the SPV's consent or even knowledge, etc. How about they take a 15% cut of any losses - after all we are in it together!
Don't get me wrong, I am still invested, still happy with the overall returns, but just fed up with the mistakes, woeful comms & seemingly stacked deck!

I would have thought the money would be held in a ring-fenced non-interest earning account - am I naive? Regardless the delay is ridiculous!

I have a new candidate - the message against the September 2017 returns for SPV 76 is clearly the comment for SPV 86 - sterling copying & pasting c***-up!
