Is anyone else starting to get irritated by the lack of information on this loan? Even my email to them last week resulted in a promise that an update would be published soon. I think I might start selling down my investment in the other Plymouth loan to the same borrower - when MoneyThing go quiet bad news usually follows!

It's worth remembering that platforms are sometimes party to information, the publication of which might harm recovery of the loan. In these situations they have little choice but to keep schtum, and suck up the criticism.

MoneyThing thanks for the update on the 9th Jan Please could you provide an update on the number of legal exchanges? Is this now at least 29 based on the numbers you provided in November? Thanks

A second (?) charge was registered at companies house in December 17 by a non p2p finance house. Link to CH is on DD Central.
It would seem the borrower is a bit short of funds at present with this and the COL loan currently being funded.

I assume the update means the development isn't complete?

Hi MoneyThing please can you advise on what progress the QS has made on preparing and submitting his report in the 8 days since your last update? As you are closely monitoring this I assume that you have your finger on the pulse?

Did I ever mention that I hate the road between Exeter and Plymouth? (and why does the forum spell checker keep underlining Exeter, and urge me to change it to Teeter).
However, despite my protestations I have been dispatched to Saltash for the next 2 days (bugger, it doesn't like Saltash either), so if I get a break I will pop into town and check on progress.
For those up north, the river Tamar separates Devon from Cornwall: Plymouth is on the Devon side and Saltash is on the Cornwall side. If you are crossing the Tamar bridge into Devon, please have your passport ready for inspection along with the £1.50 crossing fee.

Taken 4:30pm today. Nobody working on site, everything locked up. Can MT confirm if the developer has pulled off site?

Why can I only attach one photo at a time?

Why can I only attach one photo at a time? You'll find the reason here. Great to have the pictures, but we'd be really pleased if you could post them as images instead of attachments as our used storage is creeping up again. . There is information on how to do this here - I found pikestaff 's post in that thread particularly helpful. If you do use imagur you do not need to register an account.

Great to have the pictures, but we'd be really pleased if you could post them as images instead of attachments as our used storage is creeping up again. Apologies. I thought the limit for attachments was still 1MB, and thought I was doing well to get it down to 250KB. I will try the preferred method, but please remember that you are dealing with somebody who has a love hate relationship with anything that has an on/off switch, and who still thinks that a slide rule is a pretty cunning invention. Is there any reason why you couldn't have a separate thread for photographs? That way they would all be in one place and it would be easy for mods to delete en mass after a short period of time.

Still a way to go to completion. I assume that the second development is still stalled waiting for this to finish, so unlikely that it will complete on time (if it ever gets started).

I assume that the second development is still stalled waiting for this to finish, so unlikely that it will complete on time (if it ever gets started). There was a blurb in the local rag on Wednesday that demolition of the existing building could start in February. I'll pm you a link. Link now added to the DD Central thread. Please posts links such as this on DD Central when you become aware of them to increase the number of people that are reviewing and assimulating information that could affect the risk profile of the loan in question, and related loans to the same borrower.
