All stats are available, including the raw data files on our stats page: www.rebuildingsociety.com/stats/If you would like to make the calculations yourself using any assumptions you want to make then you can do so. The raw data is published at the above link for complete transparency. But the above link does not work on the mobile phone. Again, watch your tone. I've just tried that link on my phone (iPhone 6 using Chrome browser) and it does work. I typed the link into the URL bar. If still struggling try scrolling to the bottom of any page once logged in and you'll see a link to use the "desktop view" on your mobile.

So, the only way to view this data is in browser on my mobile? Not ideal for platform users out and about with standard sized screens but I guess you know what makes investors happy. I will review the data and return with specifics on here after my appointments this afternoon. I look forward to continuing our open communications in a businesslike manner. Thanks

Is that a new form of transport? It would be damned good to be able to hover with my not insignificant mass aboard. Truth has been known to mirror the movies! Back to the future! Jules Vern...... remember tomorrows World?

rebsrep Having looked through your faq I need clarification please. I can understand your defaults process up to step 7 then it stops. Could you explain the triggers that make a defaulted loan become a bad debt. This data is important for tax purposes. Not even the residual of the expected recoveries appear as bad debt. The whole amount should be declared allowing investors to write the sums off. When your recoveries team work their magic on the borrwers then investors can use this in their ongoing reports to hmrc. Other platforms have done this for a long time. Why is it not done on rebuildingsociety please?

Update. I will be continuing my search for clarification of the faq to do with the defaults process later today. I have spent time researching p2p lending associations rules for membership to glean best practice expected of their members. I am not aware that Rebuilding Society is a member of any of the associations or any other. Maybe a representative could let me know, or an informed investor/ borrower please?

Coincidence or has the penny finally dropped? I see a bad debt stated for one of my loans now. Its a start. Ty FCA. Maybe my emails have encouraged the team to rethink things. Next we may see a change to faq to help investors to use write offs against tax. We may also see up to date statistics suddenly appear. I await a reopening of dialogue and will revoew the files I got from an awfully nice person at the fca today.
Continues Tuesday.....
I hope the Easter bunny brings chocs to all.
Happy chocolate hunt everyone.

benrebsSetting off the bad debt is not the issue as you know from all my messages to your colleagues. The post you have put up is old news copy and paste from the forum. I thank you for taking the time to answer though. The problem is Rebs failure to tell anyone why you will not classify the £1 million plus of loans that are 9 months past due payment date as bad debts, or some other such trigger. You explain everything in detail in defaults faq up to step 7 then stop. Why do you refuse to give trigger details? You are failing to answer basic requests for information about your statistics spreadsheet so I will ask it again in a public forum. What are the triggers for each category in the report please? The headings are none performing, recovery and written off. I am asking instead of deducing to gain clarity. No statement saying bad debt so nothing to be claimed? Bad debt is burried elsewhere in an unusual place instead of being prominent. How do I link the id number on the spreadsheet to a loan on my dashboard? Another example of unclear communications. As for the archaic language communication used recently, which I am seeking a professional translation rather than the obscure sillyness produced by google translator. I fail to see how this is in line with FCA guidance rules on communications. I also wonder at the timing of your message above. Could it be that you have received communications by a body, the rules of which you are contravening, that you need to keep sweet? Rhetorical, not requiring answer. Benefit of doubt it is coincidence. I look forward to receiving clarity in great hope that something may have changed. S

stub8535Apologies, I delivered the link in response to your request of an updated faq: " Next we may see a change to faq to help investors to use write offs against tax." In hope that this would aid any lender reading the thread. In conjunction I have also requested an edit to the stats page, which should be completed ASAP. In regards to the use of archaic language on the regions page that was temporarily live, we can assure you that no deliberate communication was meant, this page is still in development and was not due to go live. The text was in fact Lorem Ipsum rather than latin, which is a filler text commonly used in graphical design, it has no relevance to what text will be later added to the pages, apologies for the confusion. You should have also just received a response to your ticket from Michael answering the questions put forward, please feel free to copy the response here at your discretion. I do hope no question has gone unanswered, and please feel free to get in contact with any further query. Kind Regards Ben

Thank you benrebs. I think you missed my point about faq. It was specifically about the identification of bad debts not the mechanism to claim them. You go to step 7 on the defaults process and stop. Explain what happens beyond that please. Thank you for the permission to post Michael's emails here. Once it finally comes through I will be happy to add it for all. I may also add some of my requests to show how well the process has been handled. I hope that is OK. I await Michaels response without bated breath. Regards S

On the archaic script front I am sure that by Monday I will be in a position to confirm your assertion or print the Latin. Strange that the routes of all the words are Latin along with standard conjugations from the same language as far as I can see.
