Some interesting offers for sale on the secondary market - a few £10 shares are on offer for £50/£70 on a couple of deals! The sellers must be hoping that some (rich) fool accidently buys the sum total available, and so inadvertantly includes them. Probably there should be a cap on the selling price to prevent any chance of this kind of abuse/mistake from occurring.
It would also benefit the whole site if the buying fees were scrapped, as it probably just dampens the whole cash-flow across the board. PM are taking a good wedge at each end of every deal.
Also, the secondary market is one which could really benefit from being able to make offers to buy. There are a few deals I would consider, but not at the current prices for sale. What think others of making offers to buy available?

What think others of making offers to buy available? It's a trade off between avoiding too much complexity (like on another couple of platforms) and delivering function. I do agree that there should be safeguards against fat fingers (and the more sinister ideas that you hint at.) As for offers I am not so sure. I suppose sellers will reduce their prices if they really want to sell.

Can anyone confirm - or deny! - that PMF shares will pay out the whole investment term interest to the holder at maturity? There is clear info that the holder of shares picks up the whole months' rent, but I cannot find any info re this question. In other words, if you sell such shares, do you still pick up the interest for the time you held them (payable at maturity date) or do you relinquish it all?

Has anyone actually sold anything on the SM recently? I have stuff at discount of 5% which has not moved.

I have made a number of sales in the last 7 days, almost all of which were at a premium to the price that I paid.

Perhaps, but "my visibly poor investments don't sell very quickly even if I knock a bit off the price" is hardly news is it? So, yes the secondary "market" appears to be working.

I guess there must be scepticism regarding the valuations. That's only SPV56 though, where PM seem to have applied all the projected increase in value for the full term instantaneously which I don't understant, personally. Those selling at 25% discount are actually making double digit % profit on their investment over a short period of time. You'd have to be very confident of PM's 40%+ expected return to buy into it even with that discount IMO. If the recent end of term relisting properties (albeit quite a different proposition) have taught us anything, it's that PM's latest share valuations are somewhat optimistic...

So, yes the secondary "market" appears to be working. I was not trying to sell "my visibly poor investments", I have just lost confidence in the platform and would like to bail out. I set the discount to get my capital back. But I would be interested to know which you think are the good and the poor investments as I personally see no way of judging from the information provided. I am probably missing something.

In my limited 3 month experience here I have found the secondary market to be fairly active. Most of my profit so far (not a lot) has been from flippng stuff here, and cheapest available share prices change quite a lot, suggesting good turnover. Getting properties tenanted should help some of the stickier ones. A trial reduction of the fee to 1% might pay propertymoose even more, in terms of greater turnover and seeing primary market stuff fill easier. Worth considering?
