No notification, but not a surprise. I frequently sort the loans page by end date to see what is coming up imminently.

If you're on the site, why not just look at the pipeline page? (OK, I guess you get more advance notice by looking at upcoming end dates .. but if I did that I'd probably forget before it happened. 8>.).

Actually I don't mind it like this. If I didn't log on yesterday and see it, I would have been oblivious to the fact that I'd missed it. If however I knew it was happening, then logged on to find none available, I'd be disappointed. I only mentioned it because as far as I'm aware, all others had been communicated. Unless of course they fall under my first point and I am oblivious to the fact.

I didn't receive a notification email for the latest Property in Prestbury renewals either.
I knew that the loans were coming due but assumed that they would terminate on time as I hadn't received a notification email. Luckily, I had ticked the renew box so I didn't lose my original investment.
I had come to rely on the notification emails. However, I already monitor what's coming due. If I haven't heard that a loan will be repaid, I will just assume it's renewing and be ready to bid if it's something I am interested in.

there seems to be a splattering of loans on the SM, including some that don't come up very often

Lots more various loans coming up as we speak. People must be selling to diversify into new loan(s)coming up.

Loads on just now. As a relative newcomer to MT, am i being picky in aiming to get say £100 of A391 and £100 of A392 both of which have same end date? Or is £200 on one of them the 'same' risk? thx Jack P

Each loan has a different package of cars so all things being equal you would be best served by spreading your money over as many as possible so that you're less likely to end up in one that has a higher than average level of loss to defaulting HP buyers if the borrower themselves has defaulted. If the borrower is still trading there's perhaps some benefit also to the security being updated on different days of the month, if that happens, so you're less likely to have out of date charge information at Companies House. An accurate charge is significant because a charge that names specific items has higher priority in bankruptcy than a generic unspecified item charge. Not particularly likely to matter but risk reduction is in part about managing unfortunate contingencies so spread is good.

I'd go with 2x£100 as well. I wish MoneyThing would distinguish the AE loans by name better, so it was more obvious they are completely separate assets, now MT also offer multiple tranche/drawdown loans with the same name against the same asset (MH, P*******y, etc).
