I have just made a withdrawal, and although the total in my 'available funds' was reduced immediately, the withdrawal has not appeared on my statement. This makes me nervous - there should be no period of time when money has disappeared without record. Surely any transactions should automatically appear on the statement the very second the dashboard display is reduced. Or maybe two figures should be displayed (as with my online bank statements), one for the total funds in the account, and another for funds 'available'?

That's because transactions do not appear on your statement until the requested transaction is confirmed. The balance you've requested to withdraw is no longer available to you, hence the reduced balance. I accept the point that it feels like the amount 'disappears' but that is really to prevent duplicate withdraw requests.
We will work on a notice to show lenders where they have an unconfirmed transaction pending action.

The above-mentioned withdrawal I made on Monday 16th has still not appeared in my bank account (on Sat 21st).

Does the withdrawal now show in your statement, and if so with what date? This might give a clue as to where in the money-movement chain the problem arises.

Just checked. No, my statement doesn't show the withdrawal. And still no transfer into my bank. So, all that's happened since I made the withdrawal one week ago, is the immediate reduction of my available funds. Very poor show Rebs.

If you don't mind, please let us know the outcome - I'm sure it is of interest to other ReBS lenders here.
I'm particularly interested in how quickly they deal with your issue. I have a support problem outstanding which was raised a week ago and is still not resolved or even responded to (other than a brief acknowledgement). In contrast, I have previously found ReBS pretty good at dealing quickly with support issues. I'm starting to wonder whether they are having staff issues in the support department?

Have just received the explanation. I hadn't yet updated my bank details on to my account page. Of course the fact that my 'available funds' were debited anyway and the onus was upon me to chase this up (a whole week later) is the problem here. I am told that they will be looking at putting processes in place to prevent this happening. The obvious thing would be for the website to simply disallow withdrawals if bank details are not known and to automatically inform the user as such, rather than simply acting as though the process were underway. Anyway, I have now loaded my details and am told my withdrawal will be made (I didn't want to complicate the issue by explaining that the moment had gone now, my bank account is in credit, and I no longer need to make the withdrawal LOL). Hopefully they will implement a simple software solution to address this as a priority because no one likes having to waste time keeping track of such things, especially if investing on a dozen platforms.

The timing of withdrawals becoming increasingly erratic. Its Saturday and I'm still waiting to receive several withdrawals the first being made and acknowledged last Tuesday...........

Its Monday afternoon and I'm still waiting for a requested withdrawal I made last Tuesday evening! Maybe they wrote a cheque and its been lost in the post. Difficult to know when they are unreachable by phone and have only received bland uninformative responses to email............

I received the same email. Given that I my first withdrawal should have been credited on Thursday they must have had this issue since then or were just tardy in processing my original request. Either way, the quicker I get all my funds out of RebS the happier I'll be....... Update: all funds now received including those from a withdrawal request I made this morning.
