Now it won't let me bid on anything, despite having plenty of available funds. Must be Friday Convulsions.

Me too .. 'sorry your bid could not be placed, please check available funds' etc. Nobody else's bids are being placed either though. Time to pull the Frilly Curtains down on this pantomime?

I think this might be the dawn of the new risk band, A+++ (No Risk) .... No risk of any bids getting accepted Surely the internal monitoring processes must have noticed the sudden lack of bidding?

Yep. 47.1% Tempted to spend 5p to see how quickly it goes. In "buyer rate" terms, it'd definitely beat the record I may have set some years ago with my 10p giveaway! Just let me know exactly what time you'll be listing it Didn't get round to listing it over the weekend. Will be putting up for sale at 43.8%! in the next half an hour. And it will only cost me 4p. There's 1p interest. The discount is 5p but no Foolish Cutoff fee - amount not big enough.

Slightly different problem. Have been attempting to buy loan parts last pm and this pm. Every part comes back with a red message; Unable to purchase at this time. In small black type. This part has already been purchased. If it has, why is it still being displayed? I feel sorry if its your parts up for sale, they are never going to be sold at this rate. Anyone else had this? Looked back and cannot see this a reported issue.

However they stayed on the market for a few hours at least. Another possible explanation is that I think they all had payments today, so maybe the screwed something up.

(IIRC, the real status is trading suspected during payment run.)

Not a logging in problem or 504. 1557 came back from being downgraded for the last week. I've only got £1.31 in it and only 2 repayments to go. It's a B at 11.8%. Try to sell with 0.4% markup and rate is 7.3%. Seems about right. However with markup of 0.1/0.2/0.3% rate goes up to 14.8%! Thought I'd try discount. -0.1/0.2/0.3% rate goes to 22.3%!!! Thought rate couldn't go above 15%. Probably something to do with E loans but definitely an IT c**kup. At one point I had autobid turned on to trawl for early closers with higher marginal rates, and autobid bought me a trifle with a nominal rate of c. 27%. (The loan had a history of late repayments and was, and paid back the last repayment late as well, so the actual rate I got was rather lower.)

I come here for the dystopia - an imaginary community which does not work and can be rather scary - and so am a bit concerned that it may just be distypia.

That little icon is not 100% reliable.
I've had "you are exposed to this loan" icons for loans that are discharged/repaid, which I was in, not any more.
I'm sure I've also had them for loans that I was in, have sold/flipped the parts on, and so have no current exposure at all.
Then we have the other sort, where it shows "No exposure" and yet the financials/Q&A say "oh by the way, this loan to PDB9 Thingy Limited is to the same company as PDB8 Thingy Limited". Different company name, yet same company, and no warning?
Pinch of salt required with that icon!

Seconded, although 'pinch' is probably too little for the NaCl quantity. I too have had it appear when there was no exposure (in one case, IIRC, when the company didn't even HAVE any other FC loans), and I've had it not appear when it should have done (sometimes FC fessed up and pulled the auction, sometimes they just sort of 'whoops'd it).

The "View repayment schedule" link seems to have given up the ghost this morning...
