I think we can safely discount A because RS would have been more than happy to state that if that was the case. I would like to think that it wouldn't be B, but one can never underestimate the magic of marketing speak. RateSetter Which of these is it? Ratesetter have pretty much admitted how much is in the queue by saying ' 9 in 10 investors continue to invest'. They are likely to give the best sounding stat, which equates to worst case scenario 10% of the loan book has had a withdrawal request (£85m), or 17 weeks at the current £5m per week deliveries. Given we've already been waiting 4 weeks, it would suggest another 13 weeks to clear up to request from this week. But this is all part of the smoke and mirrors that I referred to earlier. What exactly does continue to invest mean?
- does it mean add new funds to your account?
- If I have applied to withdraw all my money, but am stuck in the queue, then until it is actually sold am I continuing to invest?
- If I have £100k invested and withdraw £99k, am I continuing to invest?

So Ratesetter ,would it be reasonable to say that after you have completed all investment releases covering the requests up to and inc 16th March ( the peak of requests ) ,after ,say, another 2 weeks ,we can expect "withdrawals to return to normal ( ish)

I requested an RYI of my full investment. I had 99.88% returned to me, leaving 3 unsellable loans under £10.
Maybe that means I am one of those who "continue to invest" ...

another thought about 90% remain,
say one person invest 500,000, and 100 investors average invest 100. If the one had 500,000 release his money, to Ratesetter still 100% keep on invest?

Would you mind saying; 1.when you RYI
2. and for which market(s)? My RYI, are all for 16th March, 1 year which seems a tad slower than others........ This RYI includes IFISA which I decided to RYI later- 23rd March , just in case.....

When I look at the manner in which other P2P firms are treating liquidity, I feel I must applaud RS' efforts in this area.
They have (correctly imho) taken the approach that if they get through this crisis, investors will remember that they did their best to allow them to release the investments and take out cash. Yes, it is still taking much much longer than usual and we only have a very rough indication of the queue size but they have been able to pay out 700k upwards almost every day through this crisis.
All of my RS investments are in the RYI queue (purely because the risk-reward ratio is unacceptably high for me in the current situation) but post-crisis I will definitely favour outfits like RS as opposed to other platforms who are employing all sorts of shenanigans to avoid withdrawals, removing pre-existing transparency features and keeping investors completely/mostly in the dark.

The RYI was requested on 13 March, from the 5 Year market. I get the feeling 5 Year is releasing faster than the other markets, and that 1 Year is slowest of all.
