My RYI from Aug 19th (I think) has been repaid today. I was just under 1300 in the queue this morning.
I was always cautiously optimistic about Ratesetter, but they've done exceptionally well devoting more time to processing requests since they've had the funds from the Shawbrook sale.

Ratesetter any chance you can start a new company when all loans are repaid and bring back the good old days of 8% plus .Joking aside all in all a better outcome then I thought at the beginning of the year ,only £160 left in my account to return now.Well done for not running away and leaving it to administrators to bleed us dry

You are one of the best p2p platforms if not the best. I wonder what will happen to RS in the future? Will you act like a bank and use your own money, or will you still allow retail investors to invest with you?

RS have been taken over by Metro Bank and all future loans will be funded by Metro, although they may also use the Ratesetter name. Unless there is a huge change in direction RS P2P is dead.

Thank you for your reply. Very sad. I've been with RS right from the beginning, and made well over £100K in interest, and not a penny lost.

Of the 32 platforms I've invested in RS ranks as 18th in terms of XIRR returns. Subjectively I'd rank it as 24th out of the 32. Each to his own!

They are bank owned and will not have any new investors. they are running down their loan book with retail investors and will only lend with metro funds. so you are late to the party - however, do not forget your party bag (your money)

All funds now released via RYI from my accounts.
Thank you Ratesetters for honouring your word.
A bit of a bumpy ride of late, but content overall.

I've not quite made that amount, well quite a way off but we have not lost with RS, quite the opposite even with our meagre funds!
