not really selling anything, ratesetter is over as a p2p product. to earn circa 10k monthly and walk away, sure i am impressed. can they do better yes and they should be clear on the haircut. That must be a huge investment, hope most of it is out now or you must be very confident in RS. it was a big investment and I like many others played with rates to extract it fee free. I haven't done an RYI yet as much is being returned and I'm only in 1 and 5 year. I never liked the access plus max concept so barely used it. over 50% back now.but it seems should i need to sell out quickly 5 year will oblige and 1 year will follow soon after

But across my whole portfolio it is an acceptable % (plenty of other positions) exposure which comes down weekly albeit in a drip drip fashion.

But across my whole portfolio it is an acceptable % (plenty of other positions) exposure which comes down weekly albeit in a drip drip fashion. Clearly not reinvesting though, which is why I was a little at odds with some of your earlier 'over enthusiastic' posts inferring it was not unwise to do so. My own position (although on a more modest scale) is not much different to yours, and clearly people reinvesting is ultimately to my advantage. Surprisingly maybe those reinvesting don't seem to read this forum or maybe have a different viewpoint. The less battle scarred me of a few years ago was seduced by over enthusiasm of posters (none of whom seem around anymore) and was not as cautious as I should have been. For that reason I will always question it when I see it and offer a different view. I treat overly and often malicious negative posts the same way. That to me is what the forum is for and we all gain from honest input.

rrrupert Avatar 12 hours ago rrrupert said: Finally Access has reached March 14th. Any bets on how long until it reaches the 15th? littleoldlady My punt: not this side of Christmas littleoldlady I have noticed a significant increase in the releases in the access account. 492 to 381 in 10 days. 111 places in 10 days. Therefore 34 days before my release from captivity! Or have I got that wrong? I have a hangover!! Of course I have no idea where you are in the queue and there may be some big releases in front of us. Anyway could have my £3000 back in time for Brexit fall in the market. OK, "After Xmas" was a bit tongue in cheek and probably pessimistic. My initial thought was that a lot of people would have been slow to react to the 13th march announcement, and so there would be a lot on the 14th too. However if we assume that responders to the companion thread represent a fair sample of lenders we can see that there are comparitively few on 14th so should clear in a week or three. But that may be a big "if". 23 today!! Now that's moving along nicely. As I am on 6.2% I am suddenly thinking of staying in? Not. Stockmarket, particularly investment trusts with big reserves look a far better bet. With the takeover by metro the odds on platform failure seem very remote. Even though metro is a bit of a dodgy bank.

That should cause another spate of RYIs. And thus slow the releases down a bit.

And thus slow the releases down a bit. it won't slow anything really it just adds to the tail Except it means less people re-investing to take on the RYI funds.
