Hi MoneyThingSome thoughts for the next update 1.The new restaurant was due to open this week. Has it opened? Any pics or website? 2.There was due to be a new website for the apartments launched by now. Any links? 3. Any news when the apartments will be listed on booking.com? 4. How are the bookings going so far? Thanks

How are the bookings going so far? Thanks I've emailed the contact email address on their new website for accommodation and cost details twice now. No response both times! They had a apartment booking section on their website a week or so ago, but strangely it has now vanished. I'm actually willing to pay to stay there one night to try out their accommodation and food. Shame they can't be bothered to reply to my enquiry.

Given the two initial exit routes on this loan, either funds from other projects (not historically a hope that becomes reality, although paying back tranche B must be tempting) and refinance after six months trading. As we are entering the last 'planned' three months of the loan tomorrow it would seem logical given trading is at a very early stage that a possible six month extension will be needed.
I fully accept that the usual convention is to wait until a few days before repayment is due and then react to the situation. Maybe getting ahead of the curve would be worth a try, I doubt anybody would object to an extension as long as the interest payments are serviced. If that is likely to be a problem given the early trading figures, then now would be the time to prepare for that. Given the underlying asset is quite good a tranche C could be launched to raise sufficient funds to cover the period.
Then again maybe its all 'grand' and will smoothly complete without all the now customary frustration and delay (which is probably always avoidable with a bit of planning)

Normally anything that requires trading history will take longer than the first possible opportunity and that was one exit strategy Whether they have funds from other projects available, you would have thought they would have paid this off if so

I've just tried 'booking' a room for 2 people for 3 nights in late Nov - no availability. I guess that's an encouraging sign.
