I just happened to log on as it was starting. What I noticed was that A went to £100k available and it was yellow rather than green. So its quite possible it was some sort of bridge to be listed first or something. I didn't pay any attention to B. I had already decided I was likely to sell out of this early, when I saw the £100k I figured to jump in quick.
I will probably buy back in partly if all mine sells. Listed did go up very very quickly, probably people buying big chunks to flip quickly for the cashback.
Its just a game.

All loans are suspended. This happens when they are doing a repayment I think.

All loans are suspended. This happens when they are doing a repayment I think. I think it is actually the ground rent loan rollover that is the issue. They repay all your investment, and then force-purchase you into the new (smaller, in this case) new loan. They don't want you buying anything, or withdrawing cash, until they have clawed back what they need for the new parts.

I'm sure there's a certain amount of "rarity value" pricing on these (and other) loans .. everyone wants to buy what is least available (hence supposedly most liquid).

And the reverse "availability panic selling" when a big hitter unloads too much at once; the features of a par price market. Personally I'm sticking to basing investment on the underlying security, loan limits and diversification having got caught out playing that game before.

MoneyThing's secondary market will improve hugely once variable pricing is implemented. I've paused investing further as there's some available loans I'm partial to that I suspect will be available at discount once variable pricing goes live.

It was launching with discounts, premia to come at a later date.

MoneyThing I'm assuming that a monthly update is beng planned in the near future given this loan drew down at the end of January. It would be helpful if the update covered two aspects of this loan.
a) the ownership of the borrowing company. The loan details state that the borrower is "a UK company, that, on completion will be owned and controlled by" a different individual. However there have been no filings at CH to reflect any changes in directors, or persons of significant control (i.e. shareholders with over 25% of the capital). What measures are MT taking to ensure the borrower's director discharges his responsibilities wrt CH filings ?
b) an overview of the progamme of works needed to complete the development, and what monitoring MT has put in place to confirm the borrower does actually complete the development in a timely manner. The loan details state "....on completion of the works which is expected within 8 weeks or so." That was written in October/November, but with the delayed completion of the purchase, I'm assuming works will have only recently restarted.
