And yet when I drove past this morning there was still no signage and the render is still crumbling. But they have a website so all is good 🤔 Website: "Now in 2019, The ******** has been reopened as a market for Independent Artisan Traders serving customers from food, drinks, antique shopping, art, gifts, fitness, spa treatments and much more." [my bold] Opening Hours' [sic] are also stated...

c'mon not only is the Zanzafarian language difficult to fathom but they've a tricky take on numbers as well:
'doors closed in circa 1976 and that might of ended the story except blah di blah closed in 2004, after serving over a half a century'
perhaps that's why 'soon' means summat else ?

They are only just short to be fair as it was a night club 1958 to 2004 although it was a snooker hall before that so assume they are including that in their timeframe even though they do say night club.
Crystals closed in 1976 but it just changed its name to Tiffany's

It's now 2 months since the last 'opening date' and still no word about another one.

This loan has started my questioning of any additional / continued investments with MT.
I had been impressed with the Things for so long but this loan has made me realise that it is time to move on.

If you review the Things, how many loans had been marked as non-performing. and how much interests you could get out of your investment every month?
Although they said they had negocaited a 15% interests, but it has been more than a year, there is no return on the investment at all.
This loan, especially, is going to be default anyway, As in current situation, the borrower has no way to pay the loan, do not even say the everyday accumilated 15% interests for more than a year!
But The Things are keep saying they are making the right decision, I simply could not understand their approach.

If that was happening on a number of loans I would probably do likewise....but it’s not imho...and I’ve confidence in MT ( currently )

It's now 2 months since the last 'opening date' and still no word about another one. We could really do with an update on this. Last update on 26th April referred to inspections by building control and fire in 4 weeks so 2 weeks to go. Amongst other things I would like confirmation that the project managers are going to be ready for these inspections and that MT is confident that sign off will be achieved in 2 weeks time.

As at 4th Feb: "Whilst the status of this loan is being assessed, trading in the loan has been suspended." MoneyThing - while the loan clearly isn't currently in the "A-grade" market, you have provided extensive useful updates since the suspension so would this not enable the lifting of the suspension to allow trading? Buyers/sellers are as informed on this loan as any other that is currently tradeable.

Another 2 weeks has gone by without an update. Do we have dates for the inspections and are works complete enough to pass these assessments?
