Still some SM left to make some hay from the Panic of the Day. Thanks fogey but I might just invest in defensive items like bitcoin and stamps or Iraqi bonds. Well that's shifted another 15k only 6k left now !
Edit: all gone now don't know what all the fuss was about ?

Still some SM left to make some hay from the Panic of the Day. - site picked up at c300k then immediately revalued to 1.4M so we can lend up to 70% - speculation distressed sale was from borrower's dissolved co to related co - manic rush to complete on time for Sept semester - on-site investor inspection suspects delay (confirmed by platform) - 'sale' for nearly half the development to overseas investor fell through - MTAS other loan was in dispute with previous lender and lost over half deposits - accounting is atrocious High rate p2p is already enough of a gamble so I Thank you for your purchases, sir.

I wonder if this takes into account the Chinese investor who pulled out leaving 40 percent of the units unsold. Well done to them if it does and they've managed to sell quite a few recently.

Evening, I would just like to clarify: Roof 1, block B - Is on and watertight. The final covering membrane starts Friday this week (slight delay due to a national shortage of insulation). Roof 2, block A - Trusses on and is watertight. Membrane to follow after block B is on. Two additional 'sparkies' on site at the weekend with a view of completing all electrical works within a week. I have to say that I have been impressed with the efforts the borrower is going to to ensure works will be completed in August. I would go as far as saying that if the build is not complete in August, I will give all participants in this thread to date a choccy bar*!

Initial end Aug timetable v aggressive and finally a punt I didn't need to take (apart from the Sep intake, also dent to developer profit given the manpower to be thrown at it). V good news MoneyThing & a good tick for mtas too

i still want my chocolate bar I received my MT chocolate today and it was very high class chocolate indeed. It's fair to say that if it was a loan it would be an excellent proposal paying 12%. I haven't eaten said chocolate yet and I won't spoil the surprise for those who may still be awaiting their delivery by revealing details, but it's a very mouth watering and beautifully packaged proposition, the consumption of which is likely to commence tomorrow. My big thanks to Ed of MT who is a man of his word. A very nice and much appreciated touch.
